Trunk-or-Treat Winners Named

The Trunk-or-Treat event at St. Meinrad Catholic Church parking lot on October 31, 2024, was a success. The following were named winners of the best trunks: Best Overall, Brad and Amanda Wilmes with “Happy Cowloween”; Most Creative, Carol Schwoeppe, Ginger Mullis, and Deb Schum with “Wizard of Oz”; and Best Theme, St. Meinrad Fire Department with “Happy Birthday Smokey Bear.”
 
Honorable mentions were Tim and Karen Mangum and family, “Monster Mash”; Jason and Erica Bottoms, “Bag of Bones Adventure”; Adam and Jess Fischer, “Jurassic Park’; and Darlene Fischer, “Candy Monster.”
