Three things to know about this year's annual fall picnic at St. Meinrad Parish

Thanks to all for preparing for this year's annual picnic, especially the picnic coordination team and parishioners who took the time to spruce up the facilities and grounds, for your creativity and flexibility in preparing for Sunday's picnic. A few days ago, the team made modifications to anticipate your needs regarding the area's changing health and safety composite, including an increase in drive-thru availability — also, great job on pre-ordering featured food items, cash raffle, and quilt chances.

Picnic memorials "In Memory / In Honor" of your loved ones increased again this year, and local business sponsorship increased.

Thank you for your generosity and support of the mission and ministry of St. Meinrad Parish. To date, over $22,000 has been received for memorials and sponsorships alone.

Please note: Drive-through dinners will be available while supplies last if you did not pre-order.

Enter at the 5th and Brewery Street entrance along with all other patron traffic. A picnic volunteer will direct you to the dinner drive-thru line. There are 250 meals available, 76 of which are pre-sold as of Wednesday afternoon.

Three things to know:

1. The deadline for mail-in picnic sponsorship enrollment forms was July 26, 2021. Fall picnic "In Memory / In Honor" designees and picnic sponsorship made online through Tuesday, September 21, 2021, will be featured on the parish website and in upcoming editions of The Criterion, Spencer County Leader and Ferdinand News when the 2021 picnic honor roll and sponsorship listing is published.

2. You can mobile order with a debit or credit card now or while you are waiting in line, or you can pay by cash or check at the stand. Mobile ordering will be deactivated when food is unavailable. 

3. Win $1,000 cash! Raffle tickets are available at raffle stands until 1 p.m. Drawings begin at 1 p.m.
