Good evening –
Please pardon this "after-hours" text. I have some time-sensitive information to share with you in the form of a request.
I hope and pray you and your loved ones are remaining safe, healthy, and in good spirits with the joy of Easter among us.
Our parish family is getting ready to deliver another round of care packages to identified members of our parish family, neighbors, and friends near our parishes in Harrison Township.
Our team coordinators are still in need of a few items to complete the 25+ care packages set to be assembled and delivered beginning tomorrow morning, including nine dozen fresh eggs, cans of green beans and canned corn and jelly to go with peanut butter and bread already secured for tomorrow's delivery.
Care packages include two lb.—vacuum-packed BBQ chicken packs, a variety of soups, fresh eggs, fruit cups, bread, peanut butter, and Milk.
ITEMS NEEDED: If you have fresh eggs, jelly, canned green beans, and canned corn and would like to share your resources with a neighbor, please drop these items inside either parish church – at the handicapped entrances before 9:30 a.m. Friday. If you have 100% cotton material you would like to donate for masks made by parishioners for others, this too is being accepted. Each care package contains a mask when possible.
Our next drop day is May 7. If you would like to be part of this service and outreach ministry, please contact Mary Schaefer (SB) and Sue Kloeck (SM).
Tomorrow afternoon there is a need for individuals to deliver and drop. Some PPE will be available for volunteers.
If you or you know someone who needs essentials, please contact the parish at as soon as possible www.sbcatholic.church/contact-us | www.smcatholic.church/contact-us.
