To view and complete the pre-order form, access the parish homepage. In the search box at the top of the homepage, type Farmers To Families. In the search results, click on Farmers To Families April 2021. Pre-orders will begin at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 13, 2021. Patrons may prearrange to pick-up and share four additional single mixed food boxes for other family members, friends and neighbors. All times are Central Time.
The next Farmers to Families Mobile Food Box Distribution is scheduled for Thursday, April 22, 2021, from 3-4 p.m. Central time at St. Meinrad Parish, St. Meinrad. All patrons to arrive at the St. Meinrad Community Center on Thursday, April 22, 2201, no earlier than 3 pm Central Time (slow time) for mobile food box pick-up.
The Farmers to Families Food Box Drive aims to provide direct relief to rural communities affected by the economic impact of COVID-19, including farmers facing challenges due to the pandemic. Mobile food boxes are provided in cooperation with Tri-State Food Bank, a member of Feeding America. Over 200 food boxes to distribute, a single mix box includes produce and dairy products. Pre-order signup available while mobile food boxes are available. Once the supply is spoken for the on-line form will no longer be accessible.
Because of the limited supply of mobile food boxes available, patrons with no or limited broadband connection are encouraged to contact a family member, neighbor, or friend to submit a pre-order in their place while supplies last.
