June 20, 2024Through the Ministry of Care, we bring the compassion of the Church and Holy Communion to the ill and homebound each week. If you feel a calling to this ministry, we need your help.
No experience is necessary. Father Anthony and Deacon Mike will train you. Deacon Mike will take you with him on his visits until you feel comfortable going solo. You should expect to spend about four hours per month, although you will probably find it so rewarding you will want to spend more.
We serve people in St. Meinrad, Fulda, Evanston, Santa Claus, and Ferdinand. But you decide who, where, and when to visit, so that it is most convenient for you. We are grateful for the volunteers in this parish ministry.
