Lenten Communal Penance Service schedule for Lent 2022 announced

St. Boniface Parish and St. Meinrad Parish in Spencer County announce the Lenten Communal Penance Service schedule for the Tell City Deanery and local parishes in the Diocese of Evansville.

Lenten Communal Penance Services will be on Sunday, March 20 at 3 p.m. at Historic St. Boniface Catholic Church, Sunday, March 27 at 3 p.m. at Saint Paul Catholic Church, Tell City, IN. All times are Central Time.

Also, communal penance services are scheduled for the south part of the East Deanery of the Diocese of Evansville on Wednesday, March 30 at 5 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dale, IN, Sunday, April 3 at 3 p.m. at St. Ferdinand Catholic Church, Ferdinand, IN, Tuesday, April 5 at 5:30 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, Jasper, IN and on Wednesday, April 6 at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church. All times are Central Time.

Confessions are available weekly, Wednesday, 3:15 - 4:15 p.m. at St. Meinrad Catholic Church, Saturday, 3:15 - 3:45 p.m. at Historic St. Boniface Catholic Church and Sunday, 7:45 - 8:15 a.m. at St. Meinrad Catholic Church. During Lent, Confessions are also available Wednesday 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church in Tell City, except for Wednesday, March 16, as Tell City-Troy Township Schools observe the Spring Break Holiday. Additional confessors will be available on Wednesdays at both locations throughout Lent.

Parish churches are open daily from dawn to dusk.
