Our parish family invites you to join St. Boniface Parish, St. Meinrad Parish, and citizens of Harrison Township in Spencer County to share in the blessings arriving on Wednesday, June 24, at St. Meinrad Catholic Church. Fresh dairy, fruits and vegetables will be available for your home or to share with friends or neighbors.
Every day, we are learning new ways to live with COVID-19 as a community. Together, we lend a hand up, whether for ourselves or for others. Prepackaged dairy items from
Prairie Farms Dairy and fruits and vegetables from the
USDA Farmers to Families Food Box Program will be available for pick-up, drive-through only, on June 24, 4 - 6 p.m. Central Time, in the town of St. Meinrad.
Area not-for-profit agencies in Harrison Township and throughout Spencer County are invited to share in the blessings of the "Farmers to Families" Food Box Program, arriving on June 24 for distribution at St. Meinrad Catholic Church. Fresh dairy, fruits and vegetables will be available to share with members of your organization, friends and neighbors. Area agencies are required to preregister their order below. All orders are filled by digital date and time notification.
The agencies whose preorder cannot be filled due to supply limitations will be contacted 24 hours before pick-up.
Due to limited quantities of dairy boxes and fruit and vegetable boxes, substitutions may be necessary.An agency may preselect a substitute for one box of nine half-gallons of milk for one dairy box during this preregistration session.

On-site volunteers are available to help load your agency's transport trailers in designated pick-up lanes. Upon arrival, please make sure all vehicles in the caravan representing your agency remain together upon entering the parish grounds until departure.
The express lane for agencies with preorders is located immediately beyond the 5th Street N and Brewery Street entrance - follow the signs marked "Agency Pick-up."
Agencies or 501(c)(3) representatives with reserved packages of 10 or more are to enter in the identified pick-up lanes.
Individuals arriving for pick-up cannot enter the parish grounds before
4 p.m. Central Time, to ensure semi tractor-trailers can park safely, and volunteers can set skids in place for distribution.
Food Box Entrance for Individual Pick-up is at the intersection of 5th Street N and Brewery Street. Traffic control officers will guide patrons to overflow parking at the St. Meinrad Community Center. The Spencer County Sheriff's Department and St. Meinrad Volunteer Fire Department will assist in directing traffic to the pick-up lanes.
Access to Brewery Street will be limited to local traffic only from 1-6 p.m. Volunteers will be present to greet patrons, guide pick-up lanes, and load individual vehicles. Program volunteers are requested to park on the grass area south of the intersection of 4th Street N and Brewery Street.
For the safety of volunteers and to adhere to COVID-19 Social Distancing Guidelines, individual patrons are to remain in their vehicles at all times.

COVID Farm Assistance Program (CFAP) and
Prairie Farms Dairy aim to provide direct relief to rural communities affected by the economic impact of COVID-19, including farmers facing challenges due to the pandemic. With assistance from the USDA, fresh dairy, fruit, and vegetable products are available to the general public regardless of income or need, while supplies last.
