October 6, 2023Some parishioners have asked if they can donate candy to the St. Meinrad Parish Trunk-or-Treat event planned for October 31. Anyone who wishes to drop off donations can put them in the box in church near the Marian Altar.
Candy without nuts is preferred, as well as non-food items for those children who might have food allergies. Food suggestions include candy, chips, pretzels, popcorn, animal crackers, Cheeze-It crackers, cookies, granola bars, Rice Krispie treats, and fruit snacks. Prepackaged, individual servings are needed.
Ideas for non-food items include glow sticks/necklaces/bracelets, stickers, bubbles, fidget toys, Play-Doh, rubber ducks, pencils, erasers, stamps, slap bracelets, and bouncy balls.
