Join Archbishop Thompson and parishes throughout the archdiocese on the weekend of May 29-30 to support the Education of Future Priests.
The annual appeal for the Education of Future Priests helps provide for the significant financial resources needed to form men for priestly life and ministry. The funds received are used to support future priests preparing to serve the people of the Archdiocese of Indianapolis while in seminary formation. While in seminary formation, each candidate for the priesthood engages in four dimensions of seminary formation: human, spiritual, intellectual and pastoral as he prepares for a life of ministry and service within our archdiocese. Each year of seminary formation costs over $35,000 per seminarian. Currently, the archdiocese has over 25 men in seminary formation.
