Christ the King Picnic & Car Show will be Sunday, August 27

Christ the King Parish will hold its annual picnic at Ferdinand, Indiana, on Sunday, August 27, 2023. Pork chop dinners will be sold beginning at 10 a.m. Central Time until they are sold out. Dinners include an inch-thick pork chop, scalloped potatoes, baked beans and bread. Dinners are drive-thru only, with pickup at the lower level of the Spiritual Life Center.

At noon Central Time, the grand raffle and quilt raffle will be held. Tickets can be purchased on the grounds between 10 a.m. and noon.

The car show, sponsored by Knights of Columbus #14555, will be held on the church grounds. Awards will be given for Top 35 (pre-2000), Top 10 (2000-2015), Top 5 (2016 and newer), Best of Show, Deacon’s Choice, and Best Rat Rod.
