Archabbey, parishes will hold Corpus Christi procession
St. Meinrad and Historic St. Boniface (Fulda) parishes will join with Saint Meinrad Archabbey to celebrate the solemnity of Corpus Christi on Sunday, June 23.
Following the 8:30 a.m. Mass at St. Meinrad Parish, the Blessed Sacrament will be exposed for Eucharistic Adoration and devotion until 4 p.m.
Beginning at 4 p.m., Archabbot Kurt Stasiak, OSB, and members of the Archabbey community will gather at the parish church for an outdoor procession to the Archabbey Church. Students who received their First Communion in 2019 will participate in the procession by carrying their First Communion banners.
The procession will continue on Brewery Street through the west entrance of the Archabbey, stopping at the plaza on the east side of the Guest House for prayer and reflection before entering the Archabbey Church for Vespers with Benediction, beginning at 5 p.m.
After Vespers, parishioners and the monastic community will gather at 5:45 p.m. at the Guest House and Retreat Center for a meal.

Burgers, brats, and side dishes will be served, compliments of St. Meinrad K. of C. Council 5599, the St. Meinrad and St. Boniface ladies’ sodalities, and the St. Boniface Men’s Society.
