Join our brothers and sisters throughout the Archdiocese of Indianapolis on Sunday, June 2, 2024, by supporting the Education of Future Archdiocesan Priests annual appeal. Please offer your prayerful, vocal and financial support.
The annual appeal for the Education of Future Archdiocesan Priests helps provide for the significant financial resources needed for the education and formation of our future priests preparing to serve the people of the Archdiocese of Indianapolis.
At this point in time, we are blessed with 28 men studying for the priesthood: 12 at Bishop Simon Brute College Seminary, one at Mt. St. Francis Seminary, Cincinnati, and 15 at Saint Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology. We hope to add four to six men to this number for next year. The average cost per student for educational expenses is $52,000 per year.
While in seminary formation, each candidate for the priesthood engages in four dimensions of seminary formation: human, spiritual, intellectual and pastoral, as he prepares for a life of ministry and service within our archdiocese.
