Copies of the 2024 Catholic Extension calendar are now available at several locations. The calendar, called “Feasts and Saints,” is a spectacular visual journey through our liturgical year, using art and image to celebrate the major feasts and beloved saints (new and old) of Roman Catholicism.
Free calendars are located in pews beginning the First Sunday of Advent. Parishioners in long-term care centers have already received copies.
Parishioners who are caregivers of homebound parishioners are encouraged to pick up a calendar for them.
Beginning Monday, December 18, calendars will also be available on courtesy tables at all church entrances and can be picked up at these locations: Monte Cassino Shrine and Saint Meinrad Archabbey Guest House and Retreat Center.
Catholic Extension connects poor and remote Catholic communities with essential financial support, educational partnerships, and infrastructure. It is the only producer of Catholic calendars that gives 100% of proceeds to fund grants that benefit poor mission dioceses where faith is thriving, but the resources are scarce.
If you or your business would be interested in sponsoring next year’s calendar, two ad spots are available. Each business-card-size ad is $750. Deadline is March 1. For more information, contact Ms. Tina Boehm, Finance and Resource Coordinator, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Wednesday at finance@myparishfamily.church or 812-357-6050.
