December 16, 2019In your charity, pray for the repose of Carol Ann (Waninger) Vaal. Carol (age 76) died Friday, December 13, at her home in St. Meinrad, Indiana.
A Mass of Christian Burial, 10 am on Friday, December 20, at St. Meinrad Catholic Church, St. Meinrad, Indiana. Visitation, Friday morning, 8 am at parish church. Bereavement luncheon to immediately follow, St. Meinrad Community Center.
Visitation from 2 - 8 pm, Thursday, December 19, at the Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand.
Family prayer service with rosary, 1:30 pm, Thursday, December 19, at funeral home.
Parish Bereavement Committee will provide hospitality and serve Carol's family and guests during the luncheon. Parish family to provide chicken, green beans, mashed potatoes, and gravy. Per Carol's family, special arrangements made for table service, tea, lemonade, coffee, and sides, with local caterer.
Parishioners wishing to provide desserts, may do so. Disposable serving containers requested. All desserts must be "ready to eat at room temperature," refrigeration and warmer space limited. Community Center doors open at 8 am for parishioner drop-off.
A private graveside service with Rite of Committal and internment at St. Meinrad Parish Cemetery to be arranged.
There will be no regular scheduled Friday, 7:30 am at St. Meinrad Parish. Mass is available at 7:30 am at Saint Meinrad Archabbey.
