Together with your parents, godparents, families, teachers, mentors, coaches and others who have supported you during your years of high school, trade school and college, we are very proud of you. We pray that your future will be filled with many blessings from the Lord.
I encourage you to continue to strengthen your faith in God. You are the future of society and of the Church! So many in our culture subscribe to a mentality of relativism, which says that truth does not exist. Many people who embrace this mentality find themselves needing a stable foundation.
Remember, we find life and strength in our friendship with Christ – stability and truth. I pray that you make time daily to listen to Christ, pray, read and meditate on scripture or embrace the moments of quiet, and regularly receive the sacraments.
As you walk with Him, you can live by the Spirit, and your life will become authentic. We experience the fruits of the Spirit. The Church needs your witness of faith, zeal in serving others, and your love! Do whatever it takes to be a disciple of Christ. Happy Graduation! May the days ahead be filled with good health, prosperity and joy! You and your family remain in my thoughts and prayers!
Celebrate and give thanks!
