Our parish family invites area churches and not-for-profit agencies to join St. Boniface Parish and St. Meinrad Parish in Spener County to share in the blessings arriving on TBD, TDB, 2020 at St. Meinrad Catholic Church. Fresh dairy, fruits and vegetables and meat (protein) products will be available to share with your membership, area friends or neighbors.
Every day, we are learning new ways to live with COVID-19 as a community. Together, we lend a hand up, whether for ourselves or for others. Prepackaged from the USDA Farmers to Families Food Box Program will be available for pick-up, drive-through only, on DAY, Month Day, 2020, 4 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Central Time, in the town of St. Meinrad.

COVID Farm Assistance Program (CFAP) – USDA Farmers to Families Food Box Distribution Program aims to provide direct relief to rural communities affected by the economic impact of COVID-19, including farmers facing challenges due to the pandemic. With assistance from the USDA, fresh dairy, fruit and vegetable, and meat (protein) products are available to the general public regardless of income or need, while supplies last.
One dairy box and one fruit and vegetable box per parishioner.
Parishioners of St. Boniface Parish and St. Meinrad Parish may prearrange to pick-up and share four additional dairy boxes and four additional fruit and vegetable boxes for other family members who live outside of your home, parishioners, friends and neighbors by completing the form below.
All patrons arrive at the St. Meinrad Community Center on Tuesday, August 11, 2020, no earlier than 4 p.m. Central Time (slow time) for pick-up.
Upon arrival, you will receive a removable windshield placard to guide you into the appropriate pick-up lane on the parish grounds. Patrons are to remain in their vehicles at all times to keep the risk of exposure to COVID-19 low for program volunteers and all others present.
Food Box Pick-up begins at the St. Meinrad Community Center. To keep the risk of exposure to COVID-19 low for program volunteers and all others present, you will receive a removable windshield placard upon arrival to the community center. Drivers will be directed from the community center to a predetermined pick-up lane at the intersection of 5th Street N and Brewery Street. The color-coded placard will assist traffic control officers in guiding patrons to the predetermined pick-up lane while identifying the number of preordered packages to be loaded into a vehicle. The Spencer County Sheriff's Department and St. Meinrad Volunteer Fire Department will assist in directing traffic to the pick-up lanes.
Access to Brewery Street will be limited to local traffic only from 1-6 p.m. Volunteers will be present to greet patrons, guide pick-up lanes, and load parishioners vehicles. Limited access to the parish grounds before 4 p.m. Central Time, to ensure semi tractor-trailer transports can park safely, and volunteers can set skids in place for distribution.
Once your order is received, you will receive a return confirmation email, confirming your reservation and providing additional details for onsite pick-up on the scheduled pick-up day.
