The Solemnity of St. Joseph
My brothers and sisters in Christ,
The health and safety of our parish family are of utmost importance. St. Boniface Parish and St. Meinrad Parish in Spencer County, along with the local Catholic Church of Central and Southern Indiana (the 38 counties and one township of Harrison) that comprise the Archdiocese of Indianapolis, as our entire nation has been closely monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and taking extraordinary steps to help minimize the spread of the virus.
Our parish staff is working closely with Archbishop Thompson, along with the recommendations from health officials and experts in the fields of health and safety, and are focused on the well-being of our parish family, taking into consideration the short-term as well as long-term implications in these uncertain times.
Please note, all public celebrations of Sunday, Holy Day and weekday Mass, parish events, programs and activities, including all parish sponsored programs and activities of the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts chartered by St. Meinrad Parish, are canceled until further notice.
