August 12, 2023Experience great food, raffles and family games at the St. Bernard Summer Social in Rockport, IN, Sunday, August 20.
Faux Turtle Soup will be sold by the gallon starting at 11 a.m. CDT. Homemade fried chicken and roast beef dinners for dine-in or carryout begin at 11 a.m. in the air-conditioned St. Bernard gym. Homemade dumplings will also be served.
Burgers, brats, tenderloins and soup by the bowl will be served in the food court. Drive-through dinner carryout is available at 6th & Williamson streets. The grounds will feature games for all ages, the return of the cake wheel and the money wheel, homemade ice cream, snacks and soft drinks.
Raffles include the quilt raffle, grocery raffle, smokeless fire pit raffle, table raffle, the big money raffle with the top prize of $1,000, and the annual classic car raffle with the top prize of a 1962 Corvette convertible. Car tickets are $30 each or 4 for $100. They can be purchased in advance by calling 812-649-9113 and more information can be found at www.stbernardcorvette.org.
