November is Adoption Awareness Month and Catholic Charities is launching an Adoption Awareness Campaign in our community to bring awareness to the “Option of Adoption.” The goal is to educate our community about adoption and its process and the negative stigma and myths associated with adoption, and bring a more open and positive attitude of understanding to those considering placing their unborn child into adoption. Adoption can bring hope and empower individuals and couples meeting a crisis pregnancy to “Consider Adoption.” Catholic Charities hopes to make considering adoption a favorable possibility in our community. In doing this, Catholic Charities is asking, starting November 1, the faithful throughout our deanery to display white bows on homes, churches, and businesses to show support for adoption. White is the color for adoption. Banners will be displayed at all our deanery churches. PAINT THE TELL CITY DEANERY WHITE and spread the message to “Consider the Option of Adoption.” For more information contact Catholic Charites in Tell City, https://www.archindy.org/cc/tellcity/contact.html or www.givingbirthtohope.org, www.adoptionbridges.org.
