The next Mobile Food Box Distribution Day hosted by St. Boniface Parish and St. Meinrad Parish in Spencer County will be Tuesday, April 5, 2022, from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Central time at St. Meinrad Parish, St. Meinrad.
Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield and Evansville Tri-State Food Bank/Feeding America will provide the food boxes distributed through parish volunteers. Fresh dairy, dried goods, and any fruits and vegetables available at the time of distribution will be available for your home or to share with friends or neighbors.
Pre-orders will begin at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 22, through 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 29, or while supplies last. All times are Central time. Patrons may prearrange to pick up and share three additional single food boxes for other family members, friends, and neighbors.
Visit the parish homepage, sbcatholic.church or smcatholic.church.
In the search box at the top left of the homepage, type Mobile Food Box Distribution.
In the search results, click on Mobile Food Box Distribution April 2022.
Because of the limited supply of food boxes, patrons with no or limited broadband connection are encouraged to contact a parishioner, friend or neighbor to submit a pre-order while supplies last. Names for pickup must be listed on the order form.
The pickup lane for patrons to receive food boxes begins at 3:30 p.m. Central Time at the St. Meinrad Community Center parking lot. When you arrive, you will be given a colored placard for your windshield indicating the number of boxes you will be picking up at the church location. All vehicles must have a windshield placard to receive food boxes.
Traffic control will release vehicles via the designated driving lane to the church. Volunteers will be present to greet patrons, guide pickup lanes, and load individual vehicles. For the safety of volunteers, patrons are to remain in vehicles at all times.
