September 21, 2023The St. Meinrad Volunteer Fire Department is hosting a Fire & Farm Expo, in conjunction with the Early Days Antique Tractor Club, on Sunday, October 1, 2023, in the St. Meinrad Community Center and Park. Hours are from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Highlights of the day will include barbecued and grilled chicken and pork chop dinners, along with hamburgers, ice cream, baked goods, kettle corn and cotton candy. The public is welcome to view the firetrucks, antique vehicles, tractor parade, and Stat Flight helicopter landing.
Raffle tickets are available for $5, with a first prize of $1,000. Special events for kids include a balloon artist, a straw dig at 10 a.m. and at 1:30 p.m., and the kids’ tractor pull at 11:30 a.m.
