Collection for Easter gift bag items for parishioners underway

St. Boniface Parish and St. Meinrad Parish in Spencer County combine efforts to collect items for Easter gift bags for infirm or homebound parishioners. This is a project of the parishes’ Service and Outreach Commission.

Items requested include medium sized pastel colored gift bags, large print word search books, colored pencils, small tissue boxes, small notepads or journals, puzzles with 100 pieces or fewer, lip balm, small fruit cups.

Drop boxes are available at churches through Friday, April 8, 2022, to receive your items. Parishioners, friends, and neighbors use the handicap entrance and place items in the box located at St. Mary's altar. Parish churches are open daily from dawn to dusk.

Gift bags will go to approximately 15 parishioners, to be delivered the week of April 10, 2022.
