This weekend we welcome back Brother Nathaniel Szidik, OSB, a monk of Saint Meinrad Archabbey, as homilist for this year’s Saint Meinrad Sunday annual appeal. Brother Nathaniel serves as a F3 theological reflection group facilitator for Grade 7-9.
For many years, the Archdiocese of Indianapolis has benefited from the ministry of those formed at Saint Meinrad Archabbey, Seminary and School of Theology. This weekend our parish will learn more about their important work from Brother Nathaniel.
In our archdiocese, 117 active and retired priests, 56 permanent deacons, and 602 lay ministers attended Saint Meinrad. In addition, countless high school students were formed in faith and prepared for liturgical ministry through Saint Meinrad’s “One Bread, One Cup” program.
After this weekend, Archabbot Kurt Stasiak, OSB, will send a letter asking for your financial support to continue their efforts. Please consider partnering in their work. As always, please continue to pray for more vocations to the priesthood, permanent diaconate, vowed religious life and lay ministry.
