September 22, 2023St. Meinrad Utilities Inc. has announced that a boil water order is planned to take effect on Monday, September 25, 2023, at 9 a.m. A leak in the town’s water main is scheduled to be repaired at this time.
During the boil order, water needs to be boiled for drinking, preparing food, beverages, ice cubes, washing fruits and vegetables, or brushing teeth. It is not necessary to boil the water used for other purposes, such as showering, laundry, or bathing. The order will be in effect until St. Meinrad Utilities notifies residents that it has been lifted.
