St. Boniface Parish, Fulda, IN, and St. Meinrad Parish, St. Meinrad, IN, in Spencer County announce the Mass schedule for Ash Wednesday and for Stations of the Cross. All times are Central Time.
On Ash Wednesday, February 17, Mass with the Blessing and Distribution of Ashes will be celebrated at 12:05 p.m. at Historic St. Boniface Catholic Church, and 4:15 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. at St. Meinrad Catholic Church.
On Wednesday during Lent, Stations of the Cross will be prayed at St. Meinrad Catholic Church in St. Meinrad at 6:05 p.m. Stations of the Cross will not be prayed publicly on Palm Sunday. The public is welcome.
All Mass times are without seat reservations. There are no reserved seats. The maximum seating capacity for in-person celebration of Mass and other services is at 40% of the total capacity. The total capacity for seating is 320 for Historic St. Boniface Catholic Church with a maximum 128 seats for individual seating and 400 for St. Meinrad Catholic Church with a maximum 160 seats for individual seating. This reduction allows parishes to continue to serve the faithful while remaining vigilant to local, state and CDC guidelines for slowing the spread of COVID-19. The handicapped entrance will be open for entering and exiting the church. Those requiring handicapped accessibility to the church are asked to park in the designated spaces and enter through this entrance to be seated in the designated seating.
Individuals 65 years or older, who are immune compromised or have pre-existing health concerns; or families with children that may be uncomfortable remaining in the pew; and those who have had COVID-19 symptoms in the last 14 days are encouraged to join us virtually at https://sbcatholic.church/live and https://smcatholic.church/live.
