The constant celebration of Mass for St. Boniface Parish and St. Meinrad Parish in Spencer County will be available livestream from the parish homepage through 2020. Safety guidelines for St. Boniface Parish and St. Meinrad Parish will soon be outlined and available in the coming days allowing for us to incrementally open and to welcome members to in-person prayer and worship.
Father Anthony Vinson, OSB, pastor at St. Boniface Parish and St. Meinrad Parish said, “I hope this is a glimmer of Easter hope for all of us. At this time we are taking into consideration the most recent guidance of civil and health authorities, and with the consultative leadership and unanimous support of the pastoral council, our parishes will begin the process of opening in phases, allowing for the ability to re-evaluate the process as necessary in order to ensure the health and safety of the community. This process will occur in phases, with each phase building upon the last following the archdiocesan guidelines.
Archbishop Charles C. Thompson, Archbishop of Indianapolis, plans to communicate Friday afternoon, May 8, with the faithful throughout the archdiocese regarding plans for the reopening of churches and the resumption of the celebration of public Mass and other sacraments.
